Sercotel is strengthening its presence in Galicia with the addition of a new 4-star hotel in Breogán Park, a mixed-use retail park in A Coruña. The property will have 107 rooms and will become the chain’s third hotel in Galicia, offering accommodation for both corporate and leisure guests. Its opening is scheduled for late 2027.

In addition to its appeal for leisure tourism, the new Sercotel hotel will directly serve the business environment of A Grela, one of Galicia’s main economic hubs, where there is strong demand for quality accommodation for executives, travelling teams and corporate clients.

In this regard, Sercotel’s Expansion Director, Francisco Marco, highlights the importance of this project in A Coruña within the company’s roadmap: “With this project, we are reinforcing our commitment to strategic destinations where economic and tourism activity complement one another. Breogán Park allows us to offer a product that adapts to different guest profiles and helps consolidate Sercotel’s presence in Galicia, a key region within our expansion strategy and one where we aim to continue growing over the coming years.”

This addition forms part of a key expansion phase for Sercotel, in which Galicia is consolidating its position as a strategic territory thanks to its tourism and business potential. With this new hotel, which will become the chain’s third property in the region, Sercotel strengthens its presence in Spain and Andorra, where it currently has 10 hotels: 62 operating under management models, 21 under franchise and 17 in development. This supports the execution of its 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, which aims to reach 160 hotels.

With this new project, Sercotel consolidates its ability to meet the strong demand for quality accommodation in the business environment of A Grela, one of Galicia’s main economic hubs. The chain’s 4-star proposition will allow it to capture a corporate and executive market that is currently underserved in the area, while complementing its activity with leisure guests.

For this reason, its integration into this mixed-use complex represents an ideal opportunity to maximise occupancy and profitability, directly benefiting from the synergies and visitor flows generated by the other activities within Breogán Park, including coworking, sport, retail, dining and leisure. The hotel will also form part of a commercial offer that already includes leading operators such as Alcampo, Cines Yelmo, Sould Park, Metropolitan, Homebox and Spaces.
