"Depending on the services provided, SERCOTEL may process the following categories of data:
- Personal data (for example, date of birth or nationality);
- Identification data (for example, first and last name)
- Contact data (for example, address, phone number or email);
- Data appearing on the identification document (for example, ID card, passport or driver's license)
- Data of your children (for example, name, date of birth or age);
- Credit card data necessary for the payment or guarantee of the reservation, and to pay for the stay or associated services;
- Data related to the SercotelRewards loyalty program and information regarding your activity in the program;
- Identification codes or user keys;
- Arrival and departure dates;
- Preference data on interests (for example, smoking or non-smoking rooms, floor preferences, bed type, food and drink preferences, etc.);
- Surveys during or after the stay at any of the Sercotel brand establishments;
- Technical and location data generated by using our website and/or application.
In order to satisfy customer requests or provide appropriate services (for example, a specific diet), we may be obliged to collect sensitive information revealing ethnic or racial origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, health data or data about sexual orientation. In this case, we will only collect such data with your prior express consent."
"SERCOTEL will process your data according to the following purposes:
- Manage the provision of the contracted service, as well as additional services during the stay.
Collection and processing of your personal data through the registration form in order to enable the management of the commercial, accounting and administrative relationship of customers in everything related to the services and accommodation in our hotels. This processing will be carried out based on the execution of the pre-contractual relationship you maintain with us.
- Work for promotional and marketing purposes, including the sending of electronic commercial communications for the entire range of products and services we offer, as well as those related to the hotel sector (travel, gastronomy, leisure, etc.), based on the prior consent given for the sending of communications.
To carry out the above task, SERCOTEL may analyze the data obtained, in order to create User profiles that allow defining in more detail the products that may be of your interest.
If the User wishes to stop receiving commercial or promotional communications from SERCOTEL they can request the service cancellation by sending an email to the following email address: rgpd@sercotel.com, as well as indicating their refusal to receive them through the unsubscribe option provided in each of the commercial communications sent.
- Attend to requests, inquiries, complaints and/or claims made by the user through the contact email provided, based on the consent given when sending the request, inquiry, complaint and/or claim.
- Prove the hiring, perform analytics for the automation of procedures with the aim of improving the quality of technical and commercial attention, verify customer or user satisfaction through the recording of their voice and, if applicable, transcribe the attention provided through the channels enabled for that purpose.
Contact medical-assistance if the customer requests or requires it.
- Carry out satisfaction surveys. The legal basis will be the user's consent.
- Process registration in the Sercotel Rewards program and sending possible communications. This processing will be carried out based on the execution of the contractual relationship that you maintain with us.
- The collection or spontaneous sending of your Curriculum Vitae is aimed at studying applications so that our Human Resources department can proceed to select personnel who meet the ideal profile to join the company, based on the pre-contractual relationship of which the interested/candidate is part and the consent granted.

Your data will be retained for the period necessary to fulfill each purpose or to comply with applicable legal requirements, or until the user exercises their rights of deletion and opposition, or revokes their consent.

- Companies that are part of the Sercotel Group for the proper development or provision of any of the services offered and for the purposes previously mentioned.

- Companies responsible for direct management and operation that are part of the Sercotel Group. However, not all hotels will process your data, only the hotel for which the booking is made and/or where the customer finally stays.

- Hotels under the Sercotel brand are not all owned, nor are they managed and/or directly operated by SERCOTEL or any companies in its group, but are franchised hotels. For this reason, when a customer stays at one of these hotels, both SERCOTEL and the hotel process your personal data, each acting as a data controller. In this regard:
SERCOTEL processes customer data because it manages the central reservation system that allows SERCOTEL to obtain the necessary data to organize stays in the hotels operated under the Sercotel brand and to communicate this data to the corresponding hotels.
- Each hotel processes customer data to manage its own contractual relationship with each of them (billing, payment, reservation management, etc.), carry out marketing activities, and comply with its legal obligations.
- Likewise, in the case of making a reservation with any franchised hotel, the ownership of the establishment will be responsible for processing your data, while SERCOTEL will obtain and communicate to the ownership the reservation data you make through the website.
The recipients indicated in this section may be located inside or outside the European Economic Area, in the latter case with the international data transfers duly legitimized."
