Much more than a music festival

Sónar turns Barcelona into a meeting point for those who see music as a space for exploration. During the festival, artists, creators and audiences share new ways of listening, producing and engaging with sound, image and technology. Attending Sónar means discovering projects that move beyond the familiar, being surprised by unexpected rhythms and becoming part of an international community brought together by curiosity.

The experience continues beyond each performance, through conversations, shared references and discoveries that stay with you long after you return home. That is why visiting Barcelona during Sónar is not simply about attending a music programme: it is about stepping into a city that, for a few days, thinks, creates and sounds different.
