Sercotel launches Meet Up by Sercotel, its new MICE service, bringing together its offering for businesses, agencies and professionals specialising in meetings, conventions, training sessions and corporate events.

Meet Up aims to make event planning simpler and move beyond the traditional model of simply hiring a room. The new service combines event spaces, catering, audiovisual technology and support from specialist teams, so every project can be managed through a single point of contact.

“Meet Up marks a step forward in our MICE strategy and in the way we support corporate clients,” says Boris Marijanac, Sercotel’s Commercial Director. “Businesses and agencies increasingly need speed, flexibility and the ability to coordinate projects in different destinations. Our network allows us to offer them a single partner who can support them from choosing a venue through to delivering the event,” he adds.

The Meet Up network comprises 62 hotels equipped to host corporate events, more than 200 meeting rooms and a presence in 56 destinations across Spain and Andorra. This extensive reach enables Sercotel to meet the needs of both one-off events and projects that involve coordinating events in different cities through a consistent service model.

Within the network, 15 hotels carry the Meet Up+ designation. This identifies the hotels where Sercotel has strengthened its MICE offering in particular by refurbishing event spaces and updating their technical equipment and furnishings. These hotels are therefore better equipped to host events requiring a higher level of specialisation.

Meet Up can be tailored to events of different sizes, aims and formats, with specialist teams providing support at every stage, from booking the venue to coordinating the event as a whole. Depending on each project’s needs, the service can also include guest management, supplier coordination, technical support and planning.
