Your stay helps to protect the planet
Water is one of the resources that’s most threatened by global warming, so it’s essential for us to use it rationally. For example, taking a shower instead of filling the bathtub or turning off the tap while you brush your teeth will prevent you from wasting litres and litres of water.
If you want to reuse the towels, hang them on the towel rail. With this small gesture you can also reduce water and electricity consumption, thus minimising your environmental impact. If you need to change them, leave them on the floor.
Of course, for as long as it suits you, but remember to turn them off when you leave the bathroom or when you go out to explore the city.
Balance is the key. Make rational use of the hotel’s air-conditioning system. Turning the thermostat up or down requires more energy consumption, which leads to a higher carbon footprint. Keeping the windows closed will also help to reduce energy waste and maintain a comfortable environment.
During your stay you’ll be able to use shower gel, soap and the amenities. You can even ask for more at reception if you need any. We just recommend using them responsibly and bearing in mind that, if you don’t use something, check that it’s in good condition and the next guest can use it too.
One of the areas in which we have also worked hardest in recent years is the reduction of single-use plastics in all of the hotel chain's facilities. We will continue to work on this until they are completely replaced by reusable materials.
We are committed to reducing paper consumption in hotels and offices by promoting a minimum paper consumption policy. Instead of printing large quantities of brochures and information materials, we have chosen to progressively digitise this information and make it available to customers in other formats.
