There are plenty of ways to say goodbye to summer. But few involve wine, gastronomy, tradition and an entire city ready to celebrate.
Every September, the San Mateo and Rioja Grape Harvest Festival fills Logroño with music, tastings, local festival groups, traditional events and activities for all ages. These are days for taking to the streets, raising a glass of Rioja wine, discovering new flavours and soaking up the atmosphere of one of the city’s most eagerly awaited celebrations of the year.
