After that, as in any self-respecting city, you will have to walk. Lose yourself in the old town. Notice the Renaissance, Gothic and Baroque details, the façades of the most stately houses and their half-hidden courtyards. Also discover its modernista side, reflected in the Can Casasayas twin buildings. In short: enjoy the visual feast. Because this is Palma de Mallorca, friends.

It won't hurt to visit the Cala Major area, where both the Marivent Palace and the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation are located, where you can learn all about the painter, the island, and the relationship between the two: because Palma de Mallorca is also art, you know? 

Very close by, at the top of the hill, you will be amazed by the Castell de Bellver: the views from the fortress are breathtaking.
